Coming to Reagan National Airport 📍 Maker’s Union – Chef-driven, modern American gastropub. 📍 Wiseguy Pizza – Quick-service local pizza brand. 📍 Johnston & Murphy – Lifestyle brand with classic shoes, menswear and women's ready-to-wear attire. | May brought some exciting new nonstop flights! United Airlines launched routes from IAD to Albuquerque, Nice, Venice, and Dakar. Frontier, Allegiant, and Contour Airlines also added service, with gate celebrations lighting up the week. At DCA, American Airlines continues to serve popular nonstop destinations like New York City, Miami, Dallas-Fort Worth, Boston, Charlotte, and Chicago — keeping travelers connected this summer. | We are excited to welcome two new, nonstop routes to North Carolina. Travelers from IAD can now visit Asheville (AVL) on Allegiant and Wilmington (ILM) on Avelo starting this month. 🅿️🚗 | Dulles Day and 5K/10K Run on the Runway Return This September | Mark your calendars for our annual Dulles Day and Plane Pull festival, taking place on Saturday, September 13, at Dulles International Airport. Prepare for a fun filled day with activities that support Special Olympics Virginia and athletes with intellectual disabilities. Don't miss the highlight of the day – the plane pull competition. In addition, visitors can enjoy up-close views of military planes, helicopters, music performances, classic cars, kids' truck pull and mobile lounge rides. All proceeds from this event go directly to Special Olympics Virginia. Visit Special Olympics Virginia to register your team. Attending the event is free. The excitement will keep going at the Dulles 5K/10K Run on the Runway on Saturday, September 27, featuring a scenic course along the runway and fast route with unique views of the airport grounds. The app allows eligible travelers to submit their travel document and photo through a free, secure app on their mobile device, streamlining the traveler’s entry process into the United States by reducing passport control inspection time and efficient processing. | Don't Have Global Entry? Try the Mobile Passport Control App. It's Free! | Mobile Passport Control (MPC) allows eligible travelers to streamline their entry process into the United States by submitting their travel document, photo, and customs declaration information through a FREE, secure app on their smartphone or other mobile device.
